Directions to Konterra Model Air Park

Konterra Model Air Park is the premier place to fly radio control models in the metropolitan Washington DC area. We offer a large, well groomed runway, two shelters to keep out of the sun when it's hot and a large parking lot.

More important than our facilities are the members. We pride ourselves at being friendly and willing to help all newcomers.

Go North on Route 29 (towards Columbia) to the Route 198 intersection. Turn right onto Rt. 198. Drive approximately 1.4 miles and turn right onto Old Gunpowder Road. Continue on Old Gunpowder Road for 1.7 miles and make a left onto Van Dusen Road. Drive .8 mile to the Konterra Model Airpark gate located on the left side of the road.

Take 95 North toward Baltimore. Exit at Rt. 198 West. Turn left at the first light onto Sweitzer Lane. Stay on Sweitzer Lane until it intersects with Van Dusen Road. Turn right onto Van Dusen Road. Field in located 2 tenth's of a mile on the right.

Take 95 South toward Laurel. Exit at Rt. 198 West. Turn left at the first light onto Sweitzer Lane. Stay on Sweitzer Lane until it intersects with Van Dusen Road. Turn right onto Van Dusen Road. Field in located 2 tenth's of a mile on the right.
